The Seasons of your life
“For everything there is a season; a time for every activity under Heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
Our lives are seasonal – we all experience different seasons or periods in our lives. Some of those seasons are fruitful and positive, whilst others are difficult and even dark. For everything there is a season, as the writer of Ecclesiastes points out. And yet, just like with the seasons of the year, they are not intended to be permanent – we are to pass through them. Not only are they passing, but they achieve purpose – Daniel 2:20-21 tells us that “God changes times and seasons; He sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.”
Recognising the season that we are currently in, the lessons that God wants us to learn in that season and how God wants us to grow in that season releases us into a new and more profound experience of His love and care for us.
What season are you in right now? What are the lessons to be learned in that season? How can you prepare to move on to your new season? Join us for a time of revelation, healing and growth at the annual Kingfisher Leaders Conference, Saturday July 19th, 10am – 1pm at Kingfisher Church, Tredworth.
The event will be live streamed online so everyone in the Kingfisher Family will have the opportunity to attend virtually. The login details for the live stream will be sent out nearer the time.
